Are you ready for some “me” knitting after the holidays? Get ready for the first mystery knit-a-long from SKNITSB! There are 6 clues, and every clue will come to you in an email.

How does this work?
You will receive the full pattern at the completion of the knit-a-long with the release of the final update. When purchasing before the start date of January 15th you will not receive a pattern, the download is just an outline of the schedule, yardage and gauge. On the start date you will receive the first clue.

Cast on is January 15th when the first clues are delivered. In the meantime have fun picking out your yarn and swatching.

When will I get the clues?
The schedule for clues is as follows:
Jan 15: clue 1 released
Jan 22: clue 2 released
Jan 29: clue 3 released
Feb 5: clue 4 released
Feb 12: clue 5 released
Feb 19: clue 6 (final clue) released

You’ll receive an email on each of the dates above with the clues.

Advice on picking out your yarn
You will need three colors. I suggest two contrasting colors with a third pop color. There are SO many options. Choose fairly solid colorways that won’t obscure stitch patterns in a fibre blend that blocks well. Samples were done in Bello worsted by Plucky Knitter and weepaca by Big Bad Wool

I would gauge swatch to make sure that you like the fabric and remember that gauge affects the amount of yarn used so have extra on hand!
I’m suggesting a gauge between 18 and 22 sts as gauge is not crucial for this project. Use the needle recommended by the yarn to fit gauge and an extra needle one size up. You will need 24 inch circulars.
