Yarn usage estimate
Based on crocheting with a 4 mm hook in Durable Cotton Fine (#3 DK) cotton/acrylic blend 105m/50g per ball.

Main Color 450 yds/410 m and Accent Color 350 yds/320 m.
For an envelope border of 3 rows with double crochet, an additional 250yrd / 230m is needed.
Size (Without border): 22x21in / 56x53cm (gauge: 16 stitches/rows per 4in/10cm).

This design will be the front panel of the sweater. You can make the back and arm panels during the MCAL and crochet them together at the end.
