Mystery Thick Quick Socks
I bring you a soul satisfying pattern for a thick and quick pair of socks. I stumbled across this fantastic yummilicious yarn which is perfect for all projects which require a larger gauge. Yarn to make your dreams come true! It’s machine washable in cold water on a delicate cycle. The added advantage is that it is an all season replacement for wool, for those who are allergic to wool. It contains 30% Nylon, 27% Cotton, 24% Acrylic, 10% Silk and 9% Linen. But the best part is that it satisfies your eco footprint. You can read the details of how it is eco friendly on the Berroco https://www.berroco.com/About-Remix page. So I just had to design a pair of socks with it!!!
Beyond all odds, it is love which takes us to a better future…a better tomorrow. Join me in sailing through these testing times of the pandemic. No matter what comes our way in the future, it is love which takes care of today, for us to build a better tomorrow. Love is better when it is always shared. Make lots of these socks for your sock drawer and make many to gift away.
Even if you have never made a pair of socks, these are super simple to lead you down the rabbit hole!
These Socks are worked from top edge down to toe. The sts for the Heel are worked back and forth in Rows. Short rows are worked to shape the heel. This means that short rows are simply rows which are worked over only a portion of the sts. The toes are grafted closed. This too is explained step by step. However, you may prefer to simply sew the toes closed, but your Socks will be more comfortable if you graft the sts.
