Flat Top Mongolian Fur Hat in three styles.
A single spiral top. A double spiral top, and one with Skulls.the wide band is made with loop stitches. The loops can be left as is. the loops can be cut through to make a shaggy look, or the cut loops can be brushed out with a wire brush to simulate fur.
The single and double spirals are worked with the #4 weight yarn held double throughout. The skulls and lining on the top of the hat are worked with a single strand. Then the loops on the band are worked with 2 strands held together.
