Materials needed:

• 3.75 mm (F) size hook (I used Rose Gold+White Odyssey by Furls)
Scheepjes Stone Washed (sport weight yarn) in the following shades and quantities:
o Citrine-817: 2 skeins (260 metres/284 yards) (C1)
o Morganite-834: 4 skeins (520 metres/568 yards) (C2)
o Turquoise-824: 9 skeins (1170 metres/1280 yards) (C3)

o Carnelian-823: 3 skeins (390 metres/426 yards) (C11)
o Rhodocrosite-835: 3 skeins (390 metres/426 yards) (C12)
Total: 44 skeins (2200 grams)
Total yardage: approx. 5720 metres/ 6255 yards

You can use fingering or DK weight yarn instead but that’s going to affect the yarn quantities needed and note that the finished size of the blanket will be different.

• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• NOTE: Blocking is essential to enhance the lacy, textured patternwork of your blanket.

Yarn Kits:

My friend, Doris offered me to create kits for this CAL which I’m really grateful for!

There are two options of the kit:

1.) A Scheepjes Stone Washed Kit, containing 44 skeins of colorful yarn which is enough to create the full blanket (IMPORTANT: Please note that due to stock availability two colors have been changed to a similar shade. Turquoise-824 has been swapped to Green Agate-815 and Rhodochrosite-835 has been swapped to Tourmaline-836)
2.) A Scheepjes Colour Crafter Kit as a cheaper option for those who don’t want to use the original Stone Washed option. (Please note that Colour Crafter is DK weight, so your finished blanket will be bigger.)

You can find more info about the kits HERE.

Difficulty:

Intermediate.
Although, this is an intermediate/advanced pattern, advanced beginners can join in too as the pattern will have CLEAR and EASY TO UNDERSTAND instructions with a full step-by-step photo tutorial.

Also, I will include several links to my support videos on YouTube.

You can find my YouTube Channel HERE!

Finished Size:

70.5” x 70.5” / 180 x 180 cm AFTER BLOCKING

However, if you use different yarn weight (dk or aran), the finished size will be bigger.

Gauge:

Not critical for this project but may affect the yarn quantities required.

The finished size will also differ if you have a loose or tight tension.

Helpful tips:

Don’t get stressed about the time frame. It’s all about the joy of crocheting, so if it takes more time to complete each part it’s still okay! This is not a race. It’s a journey, our journey together to create something unique and beautiful with or creativity.

You can get the materials to be prepared for the start now.

This will be a written pattern only with no charts. However, the pattern will have a full step-by-step photo tutorial with some close-up photos and links to my support videos on YouTube.

Facebook group:

Before the start date, feel free to join my Facebook group where you can get some extra support from me and some other wonderful members of the team. You can join HERE.

PDF file:

The pattern will be also available to buy in a PDF format from my Ravelry store.
If you choose to buy the PDF pattern file, you only have to pay once and you’ll be able to download the files of the parts as soon as they are available. I will upload the parts on the release dates (shown above) and after all parts released, I’m going to merge the parts in one file and upload that too.

Thank you so much for your time to read through this information! I can’t wait to start and see all your beautiful creations!

With Love,

Krisztina
