I have given 3 options for this hood. You can make it into a hood only or there is an option to make it into a cowl and an option to make it into a hooded poncho. The poncho may require extra skein of gray yarn depending on how long you want it.

I also used 5 ply yarn which is a thin yarn and put 2 strands together the other option is to use a regular 4 size yarn and then you don’t have to double the yarn.

This is an advanced beginner pattern because you need to change color.
