Nacogdoches Hanging Towel & Cloth
This pattern uses knit, purl, yarn over, knit-two-stitches-together, and slip-slip-knit two-stitches-together to create a hanging towel that is customizable to whatever length fits your application. Nacogdoches Hang Towel also includes instructions for a dishcloth. Step-by-step, detailed, and easy to follow instructions for a large buttonhole are included. Use 100% cotton worsted weight yarn for maximum absorbency.
Nacogdoches is one of the oldest, if not the oldest settlement in Texas. There is archeological evidence that this area has had human habitation for about the last 10,000 years. Located in far East Texas, it is near the border with Louisiana, in a region known as the Piney Woods. Nacogdoches is at the eastern end of the El Camino Real or Old San Antonio Road.
