Nacre is a comfortable and feminine sweater knitted from top to bottom seamlessly with a neckline closed by a button placket on the front.
We start by knitting the collar and then the raglan yoke and shortened rows to slightly hollow out the neckline. The body (back and front) is then worked together back and forth then in the round. The sleeves are worked in the round. The button band is picked up then knitted and attached to the body at the same time. A basic woolly wardrobe.

Finished bust circumference approximately: 33.75 (37 - 40) 44 (48 - 52) 55 (59 - 63) inches 86 (94 - 102) 112 (122 - 132) 140 (150 - 160) cm.

GAUGE: 21 sts x 30 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in st st with larger needles.

YARN: this pattern is knitted with two strands of lace and fingering weight held together.
Approximately 940 (1020 - 1100) 1220 (1330 - 1430) 1530 (1660 - 1800) yards or 860 (930 - 1000) 1120 (1220 - 1300) 1390 (1520 - 1650) m of each yarn in total.
If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a DK weight yarn.

NOTIONS: needles sizes 3 mm/US 2.5 (rib), 4 mm/US 6 (body and sleeves), tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 9 (9 - 9) 9 (10 - 10) 10 (11 - 11) buttons to 10 mm and 10 stitches markers.

NOTES: the pattern is knitted using Orphée (kid silk mohair - 50g = 420m) and Aphrodite (kid alpaga, cachemere, silk 100g = 400m) from Lainamourée color « Dans le panier de la lavandière ».

Recommended ease: 2 to 6 inches or 5 to 15 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.

Nacre est un pull confortable et féminin tricoté de haut en bas sans couture avec une encolure fermée par une patte de boutonnage sur le devant. On commence par la bande d’encolure puis on poursuite par l’empiècement en raglan et par des rangs raccourcis pour creuser légèrement l’encolure. Le corps (dos et devants) est ensuite travaillé ensemble en aller/retour puis en rond. Les manches sont travaillées en rond. La bande de boutonnage est relevée puis tricotée et rattachée au corps en même temps. Un basique du dressing laineux.

Tour de poitrine du vêtement terminé environ 86 (94 - 102) 112 (122 - 132) 140 (150 - 160) cm.

ECHANTILLON : 21 m x 30 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey.

LAINE : le modèle se tricote avec deux fils tenus ensemble : un fil de type fingering et un fil de type lace.
Environ 860 (930 - 1000) 1120 (1220 - 1300) 1390 (1520 - 1650) m de chaque fil.
Mais il est aussi possible de le tricoter avec un seul fil de type DK.

MATERIEL : aiguilles suggérées n° 3 (côtes) et n°4 (corps et manches), une aiguille à laine, câbles pour mettre les mailles en attente, 9 (9 - 9) 9 (10 - 10) 10 (11 - 11) boutons d’environ 10 mm et 10 anneaux marqueurs.

NOTES : le modèle est tricoté en Orphée (kid mohair et soie - 50g = 420m) et Aphrodite (bébé alpaga, cachemire et soie - 100g = 400m) de Lainamourée couleur « Dans le panier de la lavandière ».

Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance positive de 5 à 15 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sûr possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisée.
Il est présenté en taille 3 avec 10 cm d’aisance.
