Nadine Cardigan
The Nadine Cardigan design and pattern are quite versatile. It is made-to-measure, meaning you follow the dimensions of your own gauge swatch and get to choose yarn and hook size. The main stitch has been tried and tested with many different yarns and always looks beautiful. You can make your cardigan with a high or low scoop neckline. You can also make the sleeves with decreases for a fitted option, or without for a mock-flare option. Every option comes with detailed instructions.
With this pattern, you are expected to know how to make an FSC, an SC, a DC, a ch, a sl st, a DC2TOG, and an SC2TOG (this last one is needed for the puff sleeve version only).
The pattern includes a Yardage Estimate Chart with all details provided by testers. Because it is made-to-measure, yardage needed can vary greatly according to different factors. Overall, adult sizes XS to 3XL should be able to make this cardigan with long sleeves using about 1,000 to 2,000 yards of yarn.
