Nagare is a modified drop shoulder pullover with a flowing pattern on the front yoke and slightly ruched sleeves. The pattern includes two sleeve options: short and 3/4 length.

The pullover is worked seamlessly from the top down with two strands of lace-weight summer yarn.
First, the neck edge is worked in the round, and shoulder increases and neck shaping are worked with German short rows. After that, continue shoulder increases in the round to the final width, then the front and the back are worked flat separately to the underarm. They are joined again and the body is worked in the round to the hem. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and worked in the round to the cuff.
The pattern instructions are written, and the wave pattern is both written and charted.

For 3/4 sleeve version: 5 (6, 6, 7)(8, 8, 9, 10) skeins of Isager Trio 1 or approx. 1715 (1860, 1990, 2265)(2555, 2775, 2945, 3180) m [1876 (2034, 2176, 2477)(2794, 3035, 3221, 3478) yds] of lace weight yarn held double.
Please note that yardage is estimated and can vary depending on your yarn, gauge, modifications, etc.

NEEDLES
- 3 mm [US 2.5] 40 cm [16″] circular needle for neck edge and and 60 cm [24″] or longer for hem
- Two 3.5 mm [US 4] 60 cm [24″] or longer circular needles for body
- 3 mm [US 2.5] and 3.5 mm [US 4] circular needles or dpns for working small circumferences for sleeves
Adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.

NOTIONS
6 stitch markers, tapestry needle

GAUGE
23 sts and 32 rows/rnds in Stockinette st on 3.5 mm [US 4] needle, after blocking.
Please wash the swatch and dry it flat before measuring your gauge.

LEVEL
Intermediate: Top-down and seamless sweater construction, German short rows, knit, purl, twisted sts, slipped sts, increasing, decreasing, casting on, binding off, working flat and in the round, picking up sts.
