“Nala” meaning gift in Swahili is a lovely triangular shawl knit in a DK weight yarn. The all over cable pattern creates wonderful texture and makes the fabric insulating and warm.

“Nala” is worked from the bottom up and finished with simple 2x2 rib pattern with i-cord edge running along the top.

This shawl can be made out of variety of different yarns, preferably ones that have a bit of silk content to give it a nice drape. However, pure wool yarn would work with this pattern as well. It will also look lovely if knit in a sport weight yarn.
