Nala’s Everyday Hat, like all patterns in the Nala series, is a fundraising pattern. Half of the proceeds from the sale of all of the Nala patterns are donated for Autism Research and Support.

Nala’s Everyday Hat came about as a way to make the leftovers from other projects for Miss Nala into a useful and beautiful item.

Nala loves sparkle, color, lace, and hats…all of which combine here into a fun and quick knit that is surprisingly lightweight and cozy.

Featuring an easy to knit allover lace pattern, contrasting color band, and one needle size, this hat knits up super fast. Any dye style works well for this hat, it shows off semi solids and speckles beautifully, and is strong enough to hold up to bold and or heavy variegates.

The sizing is intended to be slightly oversized. The deep brim is very forgiving and holds the larger body comfortably on the head. The Measurements given for sizing are the body circumferences.

Yardage listed is for beanie depth. Additional repeats can easily be added to make a slouchy hat, but more yardage would be required.
