NAMI vest
NAMI means wave in Japanese. The small ruffles add a fun touch like small waves on the beach.
This vest is knitted from bottom up as one piece. Then at the armholes, the sts are divided to create the fronts and back. Shoulders are worked by short-row shaping for a cleaner finish. Carefully designed details are very fun to knit and wear. Ribbing around the waistline also adds great shaping and a flattering fit, which is worked with two different sizes of needles in the same row.
The Blue vest is knitted with Madelinetosh vintage. This yarn has a great feel and is very smooth to knit. You can wear it all year around.
The Orange vest is knitted with 2nd time cotton. The yarn allows you to also wear this vest as a cute summer top with a camisole. There are more pictures in my project page.
It is very fun to knit! and I love wearing my Nami Vest!
