Namira's Cloak
This crochet poncho/cloak feat beures a bold and vibrant color palette, with alternating stripes of green, purple, and black. It has a triangular design, creating a chevron pattern that emphasizes the point at the center of the chest. The openwork stitch gives it a lightweight and breathable appearance, perfect for layering.
The hood adds a dramatic and practical touch, providing coverage and framing the wearer’s face. The poncho is finished with clean edges, and its overall drape enhances the striking visual effect. It exudes an enchanting, mystical vibe while being both functional and stylish.
Worked top to bottom, you can make it any size and length you desire.
This is a “As you wish” type pattern, meaning you can make the cloak as short or as long as you wish. It is a simple one Round repeat for the body and the hood perfect for beginners and for a more advanced crocheters.
I recommend a size 3 (Dk) about 2160 yards and 4mm(G) hook for this pattern, but you could use a size 2 - size 4 yarn and any hook preference.
Happy crafting!
