Nancy Louise Shawl
by Pat Hensley
This shawl is dedicated to my husband’s sister who is the sister of my heart. She has always been there for me since the day I married her brother. So, I thought I would design a shawl pattern with fall leaves in her in honor of her birthday which is October 31. I hope you enjoy this pattern!
- This shawl is crescent shaped.
- The body of the shawl is knit in garter stitch from the top down.
- The leaf pattern is an applied edging. You knit the crescent body first and then cast on stitches for the leaf pattern.
- All directions are written. There is no chart.
