Our friend Nancy wished for a sweater which suits her active outdoor lifestyle. So we designed a classic raglan with a twist. A Celtic Plait Cable is featured in front, framed by small twist cables on either side. The wide 4x4 ribbing at neckline and bottom banding flow nicely into the cabling.

The sweater is knit in the round with top-down construction to eliminate seaming. The cable chart provided was created upside-down so that you may read it from the bottom as usual.

Size Options: All sizes and shapes are supported, as the pattern instructions are customized for your measurements.

Sample Yarn: Quaker Hill from Plymouth Yarns provides good stitch definition and shows off the cabling. It is also soft enough to wear next to the skin, giving you the option to wear it by itself, or layer over a turtleneck.

Suggested Yarn Weights: Sport or DK weight yarns (Size 2 or 3) in solid, semi-solid or heathered tones.

Yarn Amounts: Use the yardage estimation tool on the pattern page to find the suggested quantity of yarn for your size. If you decide to use a different yarn, you may substitute on the project page. The yardage estimate will be recalculated based on your measurements and the yarn used.

A note about Gauge: instructions are generated with the stitch and row gauges you provide to your project. Please review swatch gauges before creating instructions. If you notice your gauge changes when knitting, simply add new gauge information to your project and the instructions will be regenerated with the new information.

Happy Knitting, and Enjoy your new sweater!
