This is a really simple double knit wrister pattern. It requires less than one skein each of the colours you choose. Note that it is worked in the round, the writing extending around your wrist. It could potentially be worked flat with a different kind of colourwork, though I find that double knitting in the round is the most elegant solution (and warmest).
