Show off your most confident self in the Naomi Skirt!

In participating in another amazing year of Progress, Hope & Happiness, Voie de Vie Yarn asked each designer to think about their own style and translate it to the theme “Audacity of the Authentic Self.”

As a designer, I strive to create crochet garments for all body sizes that not only improve your skills, look and fit well, and for the wearer to feel good while wearing their handmade crochet garment.

For me, the authentic self is confident in one’s ability in various areas, particularly wearing what one enjoys wearing the most. It’s hard to not feel good when you look amazing in an item that you made, and the Naomi Skirt is here to help you shine.

The Naomi Skirt is designed for a custom fit at the hips and two lengths are provided with instructions to change the length. You will be able to check the fit at the waist and hips while making it, but is designed to have negative ease.

To continue to elevate your style and confidence, the Naomi Skirt crochet pattern includes a detachable train!

By using a fingering weight yarn in a lace pattern, the train is a show stopper, on trend with high fashion and light weight to move with you rather than slow you down. This train also doubles as a cape to be worn around the shoulders, or draped across the arms like a rectangle wrap.

24 hdc in pattern x 18 rows = 5” x 5” 12.7 cm x 12.7 cm
5 sc x 5 rows = 1” x 1” 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm
For Train:
Approx 20 sts x 12 rows in pattern = 4” x 4” 10 cm x 10 cm, before blocking
3 repeats = 4.75” 12.2 cm
After blocking: 16 sts x 9 rows in pattern = 4” x 4” 10 cm x 10 cm
2 repeats = 4” 10 cm
