Napa the Nixie - 18 Page PDF

Napa, being a water spirit loves nothing more than a good walk, down by the stream near our home. The kids grab their wellies and he, well he, is first in line out the garden gate. He tried wearing wellies once but found them clunky and in water he couldn’t keep his balance.
Did you know Nixie’s like to dance to music, you should try it, next time you meet one.

This PDF includes the written instructions in US terms and step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces to finish your creation. When made with DK weight yarn (sample made in Stylecraft Special DK) and a 2.0mm hook, the finished friend will measure around 24cm/8.5” tall.

The project can be made using any weighted yarn, just adjust the hook size to match your choice.

You’ll need to know how to:

• make a Magic Ring or a chain 2 equivalent
• work in a round
• single crochet
• increase/decrease
• Bobble stitch
• half double crochet
• front/back loop only
• slip stitch

You will need the following materials:

Yarn: Stylecraft Special Dk - Acrylic - 100g/295m/323 yards
1 ball of each colour (you won’t need full balls): White 1002, Petrol 1708 and Lincoln 1834.
2.0mm crochet hook
12mm black safety eyes or 14/16mm sinker eyes
Soft stuffing/ Fibrefill
Stitch markers x3
Tapestry needle
Dressmakers pins
