The Narrow Lake Beret is the fifth pattern in the Sweet Little Somethings pattern collection. The collection includes a total of 9 patterns (of which 2 are a matching set). The patterns comprise shawls, scarves, hats, mitts and a cowl.

The Narrow Lake Beret is a gorgeous slouchy hat for wintertime. It features a droplet lace pattern that is designed to grow organically from the ribbed brim. Carefully placed decreases shape the crown. Written for four sizes, you can use any DK weight yarn.

GAUGE
It is difficult to measure gauge consistently
in droplet lace as it is so stretchy, and
because the stitch count varies from row to
row. The gauge is therefore also given in
stocking stitch:

22sts and 30 rows = 10cm/4in in droplet
lace, slightly stretched
