Naru (Ori and the Blind Forest)
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a platform-adventure developed by Moon Studios and published by Xbox Game Studios. And although I’m not much of a gamer, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed playing the previous game Ori and the Blind Forest, because it’s beautifully designed, the framework is breathtaking and the characters are just adorable!
If you enjoyed playing “Ori and the Blind Forest” as much as I did, you’ll probably want your own Naru-figure, to go with the knittable Ori, also available as pattern!
Let them cheer you on as you play the sequel ‘Ori and the Will of the Wisps’. And knitting these fellows will be as much fun as - and a whole lot easier than - playing the game!
The 20 cm Naru figure was knitted on 2.50 mm double pointed needles (UK 12.5, US 1.5) in Scheepjes Merino Soft (638) Hockney, Phildar Laine Mohair Soie (101) noir and Rowan Chenille (762) winter white. But of course you can experiment with all kinds of yarns and needle sizes.
Pipe cleaners or wooden skewers can be used to make Naru’s legs firm and rigid.
This project is an easy knit.

Enjoy your knitting adventure!
