Narwhal
The bonewhite color and the diagonally traveling cables, the promise of sea and inspiration from old fisherman sweaters. What else could this pullover be called but Narwhal?
The Narwhal pullover was my contribution to the 2016 Fringe Association’s Fringe and Friends top-down sweater KAL. The pullover is knitted seamlessly from top down. The boat neck collar is started with a provisional cast on and later joined back to work with three-needle joining to create a folded edge. The body is worked in a round with raglan increases and with a cable pattern on the front. The sleeves are separated at underarm and the body and sleeves are then worked separately in a round. The sleeves are bracelet length for easy summer days but can easily be worked longer if you wish to have full-length sleeves.
