Narwhal
This is a great amigurumi pattern featuring the beautiful endangered Narwhal. This pattern is scientifically accurate as possible and uses invisible decreases to create the sharp edge of the whale’s spine going down to his flukes. This pattern has lots of pictures to help you make the best Narwhal possible. . Requires intermediate amigurumi skills to complete including sc, dc, hdc, increase, decrease, and invisible decrease (there is a tutorial for that stitch inside). You will need either a variegated black and grey chunky yarn or black and grey worsted weight yarn crocheted together, the horn is made with a chopstick and two dabs of hot glue. Recommended only for responsible adults and children who won’t get in Narwhal fights. Using a chopstick extends the tusk into the body so it doesnt wobble or flop around once complete.
I am a marine ecology major and pride myself on highly accurate patterns. This is a great little pattern with lots of pictures and instructions. All patterns are a part of my SoftScience line.
This is a PDF file not an actual narwhal or paper pattern.
