Nellie is worked in the round, and is rated beginner/easy. It is written in US terms. When finished, your pillow will measure approx. 12 inches in diameter, (not including the fins).

I have written this pattern with all the corresponding pictures on the last page, and have numbered them for easy reference. This will allow for more experienced crocheters to quickly work through the pattern, and for beginner crocheters to have the printed pictures ready to reference if need be. And lastly the colors I use are just a suggestion, to give you an idea. Of course you may choose whatever color combo you like.

if at any point you are stuck in the pattern, Please send me a message, and I will get back to you ASAP with the help you need.

Some Things You’ll Need:

4.5 mm hook size (you can use a smaller hook size if you tend to crochet loosely). Approx. 400 grams of yarn for the pillow. Fins and tail. I used Bernat Premium yarn in robin’s egg. It’s a medium 4 weight yarn.

A teeny bit of black medium weight yarn for her eyes. (I use Vanna’s choice)

A bit of pink for her Icing top and cheeks.

White for her belly

And yellow (or mustard) for the horn. I used impeccable yarn in mustard. As well as bits of sprinkle colors in your choice. I used white blue and yellow for the sprinkles.

Some polyfill for stuffing the pillow. And a tapestry needle for sewing all the pieces together as well as a good pair of scissors for snipping ends.

These are the stitches used:

Slip stitch = sl st

Single Crochet = sc

Double Crochet = dc

Double Crochet 2 Together = dc2tog
