Nashawena
Knit on #6 needles, this clean, cabled classic is written specifically to cotton, a comfortable fiber for children and a readily available fiber in yarns shops across the country. Although written for cotton, this design can also be knit in a number of smooth, evenly spun wools and fiber blends.
Nashawena, with a comfortable, wide double-crew neck, is detailed with cables, which might look daunting to new knitters; however cables are a wonderful stitch for the ‘seasoned’ beginner, and cables are always fun for the experienced needle worker.
