Baby Pinafore and Cardigan Set – PDF Knitting Pattern

Our Natasha baby pattern contains knitting instructions for a pinafore dress and cardigan

This knitting pattern will fit a chest size approx 16-20” (approx age birth to 24 months).

This design uses a stitch pattern which takes a bit of concentration whilst working through it so it’s more suited to a knitter with some experience of following pattern stitches.

The yarn I used for this baby knitting pattern was a variable shade of James C Brett Baby Marble DK as the main colour, and a baby Dk Yarn in a solid shade as a contrast. But it could all be worked in the same shade. The complete outfit takes 1 ball of contrast and 1 ball of main shade for the first size, going up to 2 balls of the main shade for the 2nd and 3rd sizes. It will knit up in any DK yarn provided you check the tension.

You will also need 3.5mm and 4mm straight needles and 5 buttons for the cardigan.
