This pattern is for a child’s vest. It has a cable that runs up
the center of the front before splitting either side of the
v-neck and then joining another cable at the shoulders.
Two cables run up the back to meet the front cables at the
shoulders.
The vest is worked in one piece. The body is worked in the
round from the bottom up until the front and backs are
split and worked flat. The armhole edgings are picked up
and worked in the round. Stitches are picked up for the
neck edging, which is worked flat with a button at the
shoulder.
