Native American "Indian" outfit
Remember that first Thanksgiving with the Native Americans sharing their food with the Pilgrims? Well, here is Family Bugs’ tribute to the holiday of giving thanks!
I understand that these little Native American outfits may not be historically accurate. Because of the nature of the culture, the many different tribes, and the way that the first Native Americans were treated it is difficult to distinguish an accurate representation of Native Americans in general. I do not wish to offend anyone, and hope that these little outfits will be considered as fun little play-things for our children.
This pattern is JUST for the little indian girl and boy clothing (includes hat, and apron), and does not include instructions for making the doll, those can be found on another ravelry listing (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pixie-elf-doll) The crochet pattern for the Pilgrim clothing can be found here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/thanksgiving-pilg...
This crochet pattern is very easy to read (using simple stitches like single crochet, increase, slip stitches, and chaining), with lots of pictures and instructions as well as directions of how to complete every stitch required (if you don’t already know them). Perfect for beginners!
