Create your own crochet Nativity Set with this easy to follow pattern! Finished products are about 4.5 inches tall and work up quite quickly!
This pattern is worked in the round with the body and head as one piece. You will want to be familiar with working in a magic circle and sewing of parts. This listing is for the ad-free PDF version, consisting of 46 pages with step by step pictures to help along the way. At this time, this pattern is only available in English.
Skill level: Easy/Intermediate - this is a beginner friendly pattern with some sewing of parts
Materials -
Materials –
- Size 4 worsted weight yarn (approx. 575 yards in total) Pictured is WeCrochet Comfy Worsted. 1 skein each in the shades of White, Ivory, Parchment, Silver Sage, Honey, Black, Whisker, Peony, Flamingo, Sea Foam, Copper, Marlin and 2 skeins of Thicket. I had a fair amount of yarn leftover in each shade as each piece requires a small amount.
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- 9mm safety eyes (9 pairs)
- Black crochet/embroidery thread for eyelashes/eyebrows/nose
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Stuffing
- Stitch markers
Weighted Base Materials –
Making a weighted base is optional but recommended to help your pieces stand alone. Please keep in mind they involve small pieces if you are intending your set to be handled by young ones.
- Poly-pellets (approx. ½ to 1 tbsp per piece)
- 9 Knee-high stockings
