This tea towel was designed as a companion to a Nativity dishcloth that I designed some time ago.

Thank you so much to Tunie for testing yet another tea towel for me. I know that it is a big job!! I have knit a hanging version of this pattern in worsted weight yarn, but that pattern is not yet ready for posting. Tunie knit this version in Bendigo Cotton yarn using a 3.75 mm needle. The pattern requires 3 50 gr. balls of cotton worsted weight yarn.

For best results knitting a ‘picture’ tea towel, use a size or two smaller needle than you usually would for the given yarn, choose a solid colour yarn and block your finished project.

Knowledge of how to cast on and off, knit, purl, yo and ssk are needed to complete this tea towel.
