Natt's Shark Beanie
I’m a newbie knitter and this was only my third project ever, and my first attempt at writing a pattern, so it probably has many mistakes and has only been tested by me. Apologies in advance! I couldn’t find a shark beanie pattern that I liked, so I made my own, using chart-minder. I adopted a couple of very basic free hat patterns and also sort of winged it. My friends told me it was worth sharing. Good luck and please give me constructive feedback! see ”Projects” for v2 of the chart
Suggested yarn: acrylic worsted weight in dark teal, green, grey, and light blue
This hat is knit from the bottom up, beginning with ribbing and transitioning into a stranded colorwork motif, ending in decreases, and topped off by an (optional) pom pom.
Suggested Needles: 4.5 mm needles for the ribbing and 5 mm needles for the colorwork. Can be knit with either a 16” circular needle and DPNs, or a longer (40”+) circular needle using Magic Loop.
