“Naturally Yours” is worked seamlessly top-down from the collar to the hem in raglan construction with accented raglan lines, asymmetric sleeve cables and A-line shaped fronts that overlap at the bottom. Short rows slightly elongate the rounded back in comparison to the fronts, creating just the right “natural shape” for a comfortable fit. Waist shaping on the back is already accounted for in the cable panel, which is fully charted and written out at the same time. Figure in convenient pockets, hidden in the wide hem, and an interesting textured stitch pattern, featuring reverse stockinette and half cardigan stitch as well as intricate cables cleverly incorporated into the overall construction, and you already know that this garment is practically “Naturally Yours” even before you start knitting it!

De Rerum Natura Gilliatt (100% Merino): 100g/ 273 yards (250 meters); 4 (5, 5, [5, 6], 6, 7, 8) skeins or approx. 1000 (1100, 1200, [1340, 1480], 1630, 1780, 1930) yards 914 (1005, 1097, [1225, 1353], 1490, 1627, 1764) meters of Worsted weight yarn that knits up to gauge.
The sample is knit in colorway “Granit”.

“Naturally Yours” est un cardigan long, tricoté sans couture du haut vers le bas depuis l’encolure jusqu’à l’ourlet avec des emmanchures raglan, des torsades asymétriques aux manches, une forme en A pour les devants qui se superposent en bas et des poches cachées dans le grand ourlet de côtes. Des rangs raccourcis allongent légèrement le dos de manière arrondi par rapport aux devants, créant une coupe confortable. Le façonnage de la taille dans le dos est pris en compte dans le panneau de torsades, qui est présenté sous forme de diagramme et d’explications écrites en même temps.
