Whether you call this cute little creature a ladybird or a ladybug, you’d love to see her flying around your garden! She is knitted in stocking stitch, using double knit yarn on 3mm (size 11) needles, but you could you use 3.25mm (size 10) instead, as gauge is not important, so long as the knit is tight enough for the stuffing not to show. You’ll use less than 50g each of black and red yarn, with a few oddments of white for her eyes, so it’s great for stash-busting. You will also need a small stitch holder or large safety pin, as well as a small amount of toy stuffing.
