For your MC: 800 yds fingering weight yarn. This yarn is used throughout the shawl so love the MC color you choose!
For your CC’s: 8 fingering weight mini skeins approx. 120 – 133 yds each I recommend using a gradient or a progression of colors

Working from stash? A note on choosing colors:
When choosing your MC and mini sets keep in mind that this shawl has slipped stitch patterns and a giant mosaic as its finale, so your MC needs to be in a color that really showcases your minis and has good contrast with each one of them!

Needles:
US Size 5 or 6 circular needles, 16, 32 & 40” lengths. You know you. Choose a needle size that suits you and will give you a nice drapey fabric when working in garter stitch!
