Nauti Cats Need Collars, Too
Nauti cats need collars, too! Since everyone who owns a cat knows how thoroughly they love being dressed up in tiny human clothes, why not make your favorite cat-amaran skipper a purrfectly dignified flap collar?
Seriously, though. Aside from the fact that a sailor collar on a cat is freaking adorable, it also honors the long history of cats as seafarers. From the time of ancient Egypt, cats have been welcome additions to ship crews, as totems of good luck, for their excellent company, and, of course, to assist with on-board rat control.
This all garter stitch collar is seamless, takes very little yarn and is completely customizable. Want more stripes? No stripes? Intarsia in a skull and crossbones, or a cute anchor patch? Heck, yes. Experienced knitters can knock out a collar in a couple of hours (and beginners in a weekend), so they make great last minute gifts for all your feline shipmates.
