Nautical Electric
In the first signs of summer, something happens. Deep within us, we crave colour and summer styles. Our re-birth of Spring! Myself, loving classic with a POP, I found myself being drawn to the classic nautical. Thinking of the boats and lakes and the sea. I went looking for colours of the same for a simple, easy going knit.
For a summer or winter of enjoyment, ease, and something to compliment the evenings when there is a bit of a chill – after all that summer fun – or getting into the winter snows and needing a reminder of summer sun! Here is Nautical Electric. The eye catching, summer loving fun scarf. For your shoulders, or wrapped for a night scarf at a bonfire.

Long tail cast on with a traditional yarn over bind off.
GAUGE : 5 stitches + 5 rows = 1 x 1 inch.
20 stitches + 20 rows = 4 x 4 inches. (Not blocked)
o You can play with your guage a bit, as long as you keep consistency, and know you will receive a slightly larger or smaller finished piece depending on your guage choice.
This is a simple garter knit with 3 stitches - Perfect for beginners or the pro looking for something to knit at the beach or in front of the TV.
Finished piece: Across top = 54”
Left side: 45” (facing piece, shown in photo on left = bind off row)
Right side: 40”
I have added two hints in the pattern should you wish to make the finished scarf larger, and what colours to end your added rows in.
