This is a pattern for a nautilus amigurumi. When worked in worsted-weight yarn, the finished stuffed animal is approximately 4 inches tall, 2.5 inches wide, and 6.5 inches long, although sizes will of course vary with yarn and stitching. The eyes can be created with safety eyes, buttons, or embroidery. The instructions given are for a natural-colored nautilus with four brown stripes on its shell, but if desired, more stripes can be added, or they can be forgone completely in favor of more exciting colors.
