Domino in panels
About NAVAJO
This design is made of wing shaped figures. The wings are worked on top of each other in panels, joined together as you go. To finish squares are knit to creating the shoulder line and joining the back and front together.
I visited The Denver Art Museum in 2006 and in 2011 and I saw an exhibition with native Indian artwork. The Navajo-weavings and feather work was fantastic and inspired me to create this design - therefore the name NAVAJO.
