I love to knit this hat since 2018 because is very fast and exciting knitting every round you finish you just want to do the next round and so on the hat is finished before you know it.

This knitting pattern is in the English language in PDF format including row-by-row instructions, with abbreviations, knitting charts, and a check of decreasing stitches.

The hat is knitted from the bottom up, all you need to know is:
General knowledge of basic knitting stitches
Knitting in the round with circular needles
Long Tail Cast-On
Knitting in the magic loop (for the shaping of the crown hat)
Knitting Cables
Set of directional increases and decrease

The hat fits an adult with a head circumference: of 52-58cm (20,5” - 23” ) Height: of 22cm (8.7”)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

2 skeins DOLLY MAXI Extrafine Merino Wool - Lan Du Nords
(± 50g / 87m, 1.76 Oz / 95 yds)
I used: ± 80g, 140m / 153 yds
OR any other 100% Merino Wool Extrafine, Aran wool (8 wpi), 4:Medium
CIRCULAR NEEDLES:
16” (40 cm) / US 6 (4 mm) for the brim
16” (40 cm) / US 7 (4.5 mm) for the body
OTHER MATERIALS:
DPN needle for the cables
BLUNT TAPESTRY NEEDLE: for removing the jaw
ROW COUNTER FOR CIRCULAR KNITTING (or stitch marker)
TAPE MEASURE
SCISSORS
POMPOM (optional)
GUAGE:
12 sts & 14 rows = 2” (5 cm) in a cable pattern
