The Nawara Dress is knit seamlessly top-down, first by working flat to create the bow opening and then joined in the round after the raglan increases. The stranded colourwork forms little flowers (did you know that ‘nawara’ means ‘flower’ in Tunisian). The short sleeves are knit using the magic loop method, with an I-cord bind-off that matches the body. The final touch will be knitting an I-cord to tie a bow at the back of the dress. Don’t worry, this bow is attached to the back of the neck in a safe way that makes it impossible to tighten!

Please note that this is a short dress. If you’d like to add more length, you can do so before the colourwork section.
