Naya's Nifty Bag
Intermediate difficulty: Most of the stitches are relatively simple but putting it all together probably needs some experience.
This a a useful bag an ideal size for carrying a small laptop. I designed it originally for my daughter so that she’d have something to carry her school laptop around in, I have found since though that it is a really handy size and shape for everyday use.
Created in panels which are then crocheted together it leaves you free to make your own modifications to get another size. The fabric is very firm as two strands of yarn are used together with a smaller hook size than usual so that there aren’t any problems with the bag stretching over time. A great project for using up those partial balls of yarn you have hanging around in the stash. If you adjust your hook size accordingly you can make this out of any weight yarn, be aware that by doing this you will, of course, end up with a different sized bag.
You will need about 250mets.300yds of yarn and a couple of buttons to complete this.
