The border can be made around a single Ndebele Tile or around any number of connected Ndebele tiles. Yarn usage will depend on what you choose to do.

The border includes PLT stitching. A method to connect parts. This technique is explained in the pattern and has accompanying photos to clarify.

Short rows are part of the border. These are only necessary if you would like to square off your work.

The short rows are made in the 4 corners.
