This delicious sock pattern is written especially for self striping yarns, but it works nicely with other yarns also.
(In this yarn each layer is aproximately 4 rows wide over a 64 stitch count).

Sock weight yarn/4ply The sample was made using DownSheepyLane in “Sweet like chocolate” colorway (75/25 Bluefaced Leicester, Nylon 50g/210m) and for contrast Drops Fabel Unicolor 101 (25% Polyamide,75% Wool 50g/205m)
Main colour: 46g (193m)
Contrast colour: 22g (90m)
Needles:
Double pointed needles 2,5 mm
Gauge:
32 sts and 42 rows to 10 cm/ 4 inch square measured over stockinette stitch worked in the rnd on 2,5 mm needles
