PATTERN NOTES:

  • The top is meant to be worn with 0”- 2” negative ease. It looks adorable layered over bralettes or a swimsuit top with some high-waisted shorts or skirts.
  • It is initially constructed in one piece from the top down then the lace at the waist is knit perpendicular to the body of the top.
  • There’s an opening left at the back of the lace for a peek-a-boo effect.
  • You can easily adjust the length of the top to make it shorter or longer before working the lace trim portion. When positioning straps to be sewn on, it might be useful to lay top over a favorite bra or bralette and position the straps according to where they fall on the bra or bralette. OR you can simply tie the straps around your neck to be worn as a halter top.
