Nebraska Harvest
Nebraska Harvest* is a nod to the vast field of crops that are found in Nebraska. Nurtured from Sring planting to crisp Fall days when farmers harvest their fields. If you look closely this cowl mirrors those rows of corn and beans.
The cowl design was intended to go from large to small, simply by changing the needle size. The fade of three colors of Shibui Silk Cloud happens before and after the needle change.
The bottom and top are designed to roll and add to the feature that keeps the cowl in place.
Please note the the gauge changes with the size of needles.
Recommended Yarn:
1 skein of Lazy Bee Sock (dyed in Nebraska) or other fingering weight yarn. Color used: Winter Solstice
3 different skeins of Shibui Silk Cloud. Colors used:
Cooperleaf
Fiddleneck
Prickly Pear
You can carry just one color of Silk Cloud with this project. You will need two skeins of the same color to have enough.
Special thanks to our customers that helped name with peice. Congratulations to Joni G having her name selected.
