Nebula
Lightweight hat. Relatively easy stranded colorwork pattern, having only a couple rows with floats long enough that they will need a catch in them. This is a great project for beginning Fair Isle knitters or for those (like me) who enjoy doing colorwork, but only in small doses.
Yarn requirements (VERY approximate!): 300 yards laceweight (or 150 yards fingering weight) in MC. 70 yards laceweight (or 35 yards fingering weight) in CC.
The .pdf download is 3 pages-- the first two are the complete pattern, and the last page is the chart and vital instructions ONLY, without pictures, condensed into one page. If you prefer not to use up your color ink, choose to print only page 3! (Likewise, if you prefer to print the pattern with pictures, you won’t need the last page-- printing only pages 1 and 2 will give you the complete pattern.) …or print all of them, with one the first copy to “keep nice” and the last page to shove in your knitting bag! Make the choice of what you’d like to print out in the print window that opens up on your computer when you print. Any way you choose, you’ll always have all of the pages saved with the .pdf.
