Necessity of Innovation Legwarmers
These legwarmers came about because “Necessity is the Mother of Invention!” And, because I wanted legwarmers I could remove without taking off my boots. These lace and cable leggings are knit flat, and then fasten up the side of the leg with either buttons or a zipper -- directions for both are included!
The sample is shown in the smallest size, using Dream in Color Smooshy yarn in the colourway “Brilliant”. This is a relatively standard sock yarn; with 85% Superwash Merino Wool, and 15% nylon. If you’re looking to substitute yarns, any wool or wool/nylon sock blend should work up well!
For questions and support, please visit this thread in my Ravelry Group, e-mail me at sarahdawnsdesigns@gmail.com, or send me a PM here on Ravelry.
The lace and cable stitch pattern is both written and charted.
This pattern also has an accessible large print option that is compatible with screen-reading software. This option includes the written instruction.
