This doll was inspired by an old black and white photo that I found in our family album… A photo of a little boy, just back from outside, rosy cheeks, big smile, happy little hurler…

About this doll:

• this doll is about 43cm/17” tall;
• it is made with various yarns listed above;
• needles used: 3.25mm and 4mm;
• both body and clothes are knitted flat and require seaming;
• gauge is not really that important;
• all clothing is removable except socks;

About this pattern:

• it includes lots of photos to guide you through each step,
• it also includes charts for the cables in the aran jumper:
• all the parts are knitted flat,
• it requires skills of working cables and using cable needle as well as knowledge of how to read charts,
• included is a template for the hurley,

Note about the making of the aran jumper:
It is knitted in 4 separate parts and then put together.
