I know all of you are going to think I have gone completely off my head. I think I need a break. You must all think I am completely mad but I don’t know about you its every parents nightmare when nit (head lice) alerts happen in schools and its so expensive to treat your little ones especially if you have more than one.

My daughter’s school have enforced a very good ruling that children should not go to school if they have these little monsters and should stay at home until these little monsters have been treated to help stop the spread so “Ned The Nit” would love to help spread the Nit word about this ruling and I hope it happens in all schools as I know one or two do not enforce this rule.

“Ned” is totally breed free!!! Its a destash project. You can make 6 nits with 1 ball of fauve or you can use DK weight and use 2 strands together to give structure to this hair slide.

Maybe if you don’t want Ned to be a hairslide, use him as a pin cushion in the school office. Place a pin in Ned every time there is an outbreak and count up the total number of pins on Ned at the end of the school year and report to ONS the total number of outbreaks.

This is a joke pattern with a serious message.
