This pattern would be suitable for an intermediate beginner. You will need to work in rows, in the round and continuous rounds.

The Need A Friend Bear beanie is soft and fluffy like the real thing with a bit of sparkle (not that the photos show this clearly).

Pattern includes instructions for all sizes from newborn to child.

1 skein of the main colour (Passioknit Empire Chatsbury) will suffice for sizes newborn to toddler and 2 skeins for the child size.

1 skein of Moda Vera Blissful (used for ear contrast colour) will be ample.

Since writing this pattern I have created matching booties using left over yarn and I will make it available shortly as a free pattern.
